Get ready for the breeze of spring and the warmth of summer with these top beauty trends.

1. Electric Lips
Bright lip color is going to be huge this spring as seen on models with popped up coral, pink and red lips. Continued from winter 2010, bright colors like vibrant pinks, purples, and oranges will be defining not only fashion but also beauty for spring 2011 season as well. From matte to glossy finishes, no doubt that neon lips are must-haves this season. Find the hue which suits your skin tone best. The cosmetic stands offer testers so you can test which shades offers your skin best advantages. Be sure to use an opaque lip primer or concealer to help the color pop.

2. Eye-popping Eyeshadow Colors
Not too long ago, it was advised to use either a bold colored eye makeup or a bold colored lipstick, not both at the same time but it seems that this new season this rule is out. Now you can choose to enhance the eyes, the lips or both, depending on personal style and preference. Bold eyeshadow colors such as green, blue, orange, lavender and even red popped out of the runways. Note: Mascara and eyeliner are a must for this type of makeup so don't neglect their importance. If you're not into using too much eyeshadow you can use an eyeliner of a smokey eye makeup to give the eyes a bold definition.

3. The High Bun
The high bun this season is oversized and chunky. Position the bun on top of your head and be sure to tease your hair beforehand to ensure a big messy bun look. Another variation is the highset braided buns at Sophie Theallet presentation that reinvented the classic style with a unique visual interest. The front is sleek and polished-looking while the braid's intricate detail made the updo look fresh, rather than formal and stuffy.

4. Hair Accessories
Barretts, flowers, and headbands give this season the perfect pop of color and drama. Pin it with your hair down or merge in an updo. Remember to keep the rest of your look toned down if you are using a large or dramatic hair accessory.

5. Extreme Side Parting
Side hair partings shouldn’t necessarily be super-polished and sleek. The best examples for these romantically winsome hairstyles can be found in the collections of Michael Kors and Rodarte. To get the same look, dry your locks without using a brush. And then make a left or right extreme side parting and fix it with your fave styling product. Very '70s schoolgirl, deep side parts anchored hairstyles from stick straight to beachy messy.

6. Braids
The Spring/Summer 2011 braid runway hair trend is a good example of the extreme popularity of the complex but chic hairstyles that undoubtedly have their glamorous charm suitable both for formal and casual events. And if you are among those who are eager to stay in vogue, you should take a look at the most trendy and eye-catching braids. You can draw some inspiration from the model looks from glam fashion shows of Charlotte Ronson and Lacoste.

7. Hippie Hair
This season, retro hairstyle will be in. It's easy to create and manage this look. Long flowing natural waves, the reminiscent of 1960's and 1970's, trailed down the runways of spring-summer 2011. The messier the hair, the more 'in' you'll be this season.

8. Sun-kissed Glow
Golden or bronze skin, probably the best sought after summer look, was still flaunted during the Spring/Summer 2011 shows. Dust some golden shimmers on top of peach blush for the perfect sun-kissed glow. As seen on Moschino, applying rust-brown shades in the hallows of your cheeks can give a multi-dimensional glow that's suitable both on the red carpet and outside under the sun.

I can't wait to take out my neon and pop palettes for spring and summer this year!
