When I was still in gradeschool dealing with Mathematics, trial and error has always been part of the learning process to solve a certain equation. When I stepped into college, certain philosophical studies say that experience is the best way for us human beings to learn. And even after finishing school, I've had a few mishaps that could've turned to regret if I didn't convince myself that I should just "charge it to experience".

Lucky for us ladies, when it comes to beauty choices, there are a couple of virtual make-over sites online that can help us make a wise one, avoiding rash decisions that can turn into a major hair disaster.
Taaz Virtual Make-over is my favorite. I have tons of clients abroad who are forced to skip trial make-up and hair sessions before their big day because of the distance (They're just flying home a day or two before their wedding day). What I do is I ask for their photos and do a virtual make-over on it, and send it back to them via email.

You might be thinking that the virtually made-up photos look fake. Well, it's not the most realistic photoshopped picture you can get, but you'd have an idea if a certain look suits you. What I love about Taaz is that it customizes the styles you'd be trying on based on your features. Once your photo is uploaded, Taaz will let you manually pinpoint certain parts of your face. After that, you can then go on and try hairstyles, make-up shades and even fashion items!

My favorite part of it all is putting on make-up. Imagine, not wasting any amount of cosmetics just to see if a certain shade would look good on your bronzed or uber fair skin! And of course, there's the hairstyle make-over that will save you the trouble of going to the salon and not knowing which haircut would suit your face shape best.

Below is the original photo I uploaded, followed by the virtually made-up photo.
