I don't know about you, but I am totally a Red Carpet junkie! For someone who doesn't wake up early, I make it a point to wake up to catch every live broadcast of Award Shows every start of the year. Yesterday's 67th Annual Golden Globes Award was on in Star World live via satellite. Frankly, the show wasn't as good as last year's and most of the attendees weren't as show-stopping either -- maybe because of the unexpected rain that ruined most of their dresses and hair do's while walking on the umbrella-filled red carpet going in The Beverly Hills Hilton Hall.

My favorite look that night was that of Drew Barrymore's, who was wearing Atelier Versace. She looked lovely in her "nude" gown and equally nude-natural make-up, though she came in a bit late. Her unprepared speech even made her more lovely, in my opinion. When the show finished, I ran to my laptop to search for whoever did her subtle make-up. Luckily, I wasn't not the only one looking and found the info I needed from one of the few beauty bloggers I follow.

Makeup artist Debra Ferullo for Cover Girl (Drew is among the faces for the brand) used warm-tones for a natural, soft look. Of Drew’s look, she said: “First, I prepped the skin with moisturizer and then applied Dior Skinflash Primer to set the skin. Drew’s skin is so gorgeous that she doesn’t need a full face of foundation so I applied DiorSkin Nude Foundation on the cheeks to give her a dewy look and on select spots for natural illumination. Lastly, I applied Cover Girl Simply Ageless Blush in Plush Peach with my fingers to add a healthy glow and defined cheekbones. The look for her eyes was a pearly, iridescent, shimmer with just a touch of color. I used CCover Girl  Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire. First, I applied the lighter shade to the inner corner of the eye, then the darker shade to the lid for a colorful smoky eye look. Use your finger to blend the cream ormula for the most control. Drew wanted her lashes to stand out, so I curled them, then applied three coats of Cover Girl  LashBlast Length Mascara to the top lashes and one coat to the bottom lashes for definition. For Drew’s classic lips, I applied Dior Addict Lipstick in Hollywood Rose #753.”
