One year ago,  Dolce and Gabbana locked the face-painting establishment with their first entry into the beauty game: a line of face, lip, eye, and nail products simply called The Makeup. To mark the first anniversary, they’ll release the Roses Collection this month. Each of the five new pout perfecters has been designed in homage to an antique wild rose that has been cultivated as a modern hybrid and bears a subtle fragrance akin to that of Sicily’s famed floral gardens. Scarlett Fire Rose is a classic, creamy red; Shine On has infusions of apricot, peach, and gold; and Magnifica is a mauve crimson; while Baby Darling packs an orange-pink pigment and Fascination is a more pure adaptation of the girly hue. When you ask your significant other for a bouquet of roses next weekend, make sure you clarify that you want the wearable kind.
