Three months ago, I got one of the best news a make-up addict can ever receive -- Benefit Cosmetics is finally opening in Manila! It took so much patience and willpower to not let the news out in my blog (until everyone blogged about it about a month ago!), but I finally decided that 2 weeks before its opening would be the perfect timing to write about it. With the advent of high definition technology, upgrading my make-up to high definition was only but necessary. Since 2009, I’ve been on the lookout for the best high-def make-up there is in the market. Oh there are lots of them – but only in the US. Sadly, we only have a good few ones to choose from in our shelves. So when I learned that Koh Gen Do finally arrived in our shores, I definitely opened up my schedule to attend their launch.

Who doesn’t love Halloween? Well, uhm, I don’t. Not that I’m kill-joy or anything, but I just don’t find Halloween a holiday worthy of celebration. I find the quest for the best outrageous costume too time-consuming and exhausting, not to mention having fake scars and blood all over. And for someone who’s last scary movie was “What Lies Beneath,” skipping Halloween altogether was next to logical.
